Ministry of Religion Arranges Technical Guidelines for Implementing Competency Selection in the Field of CPNS 2021

The Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) is preparing and compiling technical guidelines for the grid and materials for implementing the 2021 CPNS Field Competency Selection (SKB). The preparation of the 2021 CPNS SKB technical guidelines involves dozens of representatives from 13 work units within the Ministry of Religion.

Acting Head of the Bureau of Personnel Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Ministry of Religion Akhmad Lutfi said the presence of HR as an element of accreditation is very important and strategic. The Ministry of Religion as one of the largest work units has a total of 230,845 ASNs.

“This turns out to be not enough when viewed from the reality on the ground, especially in the context of providing public services,” said Lutfi, Friday (10/9).

According to him, the preparation of the 2021 CPNS SKB technical guidelines aims to make the selection process run clean and accountable and can produce competent and appropriate CPNS as needed. This is important to achieve the vision of an advanced Indonesia and the smooth running of tasks and services to the community, as well as in the context of realizing good personnel governance.

He added that the implementation of the ASN selection became a national showcase of ministries and institutions. This selection includes the stages of registration, administration, basic competencies, fields and ASN equivalence.

The implementation of basic competency selection is currently underway in stages I and II in several regions. The components of the field selection consist of psychological tests, work practices, and national interviews.

“We hope that the drafters of the SKB instrument grid will also pay attention to the material on religious and national insights. Hopefully this technical guideline can be made in the best possible way as optimally as possible to ensure that the ASN of the Ministry of Religion has strong nationalism,” he said.
